SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR AND CONTENT CREATOR

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a part time social media coordinator to look after all aspects of the social media channels and digital marketing.

 

Reports To:
Company Directors

 

Position Purpose:
This part time role is all about brainstorming, developing and executing new and engaging social and digital content.

 

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

Digital mailouts:

  • Coding layout
  • Create engaging content targeted to various customer groups that aligns with monthly strategies and new product arrivals and promotions
  • Manage/optimise customer contact lists 

Social media:

  • Management of social media calendars, scheduling posts using Latergram and Storrito platforms
  • Coordinate, create, execute and publish content for Facebook, Instagram and other channels
  • Engage with followers and relevant people to grow our social media account
  • Drive brand awareness with a consistent message across social media platforms
  • Research and find relevant inspirational content to use within our social pages
  • Assist in updating our social media strategy alongside the changing digital landscape
  • Creating monthly social media strategies and plans in coordination with our new product arrivals and promotions
  • Engage and collaborate with key influencers, stylists and bloggers
  • Out of the box approach to new ways to engage with and grow our social community

Blog Development

 

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

  • Digital whizz
  • Creative, detail oriented, visually analytical
  • In the know with emerging creative trends
  • Handy with a camera
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Knowledge of Mailchimp and Shopify
  • Capable at developing Gif’s
  • Experience in developing creative social assets for multiple channels, specifically Facebook, Instagram
  • Experience with editing content and photos
  • Copywriting
  • Have high attention to detail with the ability to self check
  • Understanding of social media channels and how they operate
  • Styling, art or design experience a plus

 

Qualifications:

  • University graduate
  • Work experience in social/digital content creation/coordination
