Sad, forgotten and obsolete, this poor rusty kerosene lantern was crying out for Walter G to give it a new look. Sourced by Lauren and Genevieve in Jodhpur and restored by a crafty team of artisans, this lantern has a new lease on life.
Each length of fabric has been hand dyed by
Ghynshyam using a mix of vegetable and mineral ingredients and then hand block printed by his wife
Kantha. If you are lucky enough, you will find little imperfections on your piece of fabric due to the hand block printing and dying process. This adds to the story of each fabric and ensures that you receive a Walter G original.

- Rotate shade regularly and try to keep out of direct sunlight to avoid excessive fading
- Handle with care as this piece is an old artefact (they don't like to be pushed around!)
We send our parcels through Australia Post and Fastway Couriers. All products will be delivered within 5-7 business days of purchase. International orders usually take a little longer to reach you, but we are happy to send our Walter Goodies to any far away and exotic place.

There is only one thing that we value above our Walter Goodies, our customers. Return any item that contains an accidental fault within 14 days of receipt and it will be replaced or repaired. Goods deemed unsuitable by the purchaser (i.e. not faulty) are non-refundable. Due to the fact that our fabrics are hand printed with natural dyes, slight variations in colour and repeat are unavoidable. Unfortunately these beautiful imperfections do not warrant a return. To initiate the returns process, please contact us so that we can make the necessary arrangements. Please note, there is no exchange or repair offered on sale goods.
