Born and bred in Sanganer, Shankar continues to spend his days getting muddy and blue in his back yard!

Following in the footsteps of his father Om Ji, he has a way with natural dyes, intuitively feeling what the fabric needs and how much. Shankar’s favourite colour is blue and lucky for him, he gets to stare at it all day long as he is an Indigo specialist.
